The faculty of Engineering of Neelain University, annually prepares hundreds of graduate and undergraduate students to lead professional endeavors in fields such as academia, technology, electronic , chemical engineering and more. The Faculty graduates consistently rank high in the employment records, recognizing its outstanding education. The current state of the Faculty, in numbers, is as follows: Departments: Computer Engineering: established in 1997, with 356 current undergraduate students. 176 Students graduated with BSc in Engineering, as of October 2017. Control Engineering: established in 1997, with 421 current undergraduate students. 672 Students graduated with BSc in Engineering, as of October 2017. Communications Engineering: established in 1997, with 440 current undergraduate students. 676 Students graduated with BSc in Engineering, as of October 2017. Chemical Engineering: transferred to faculty of engineering in 1997, after offering a program of chemical technology in the faculty of Science for 55 years. The current enrollment for undergraduate students is 321. 142 Students graduated with BSc in Engineering, as of October 2017. The faculty offers a three year technical Diploma, since 2007. The program started in 2000 by offering a two year intermediated Diploma. The following programs are offered: Computer Engineering Communication Engineering Control Engineering 2890 Students graduated with Technical or intermediate Diploma, as of October 2017. The Faculty offers a taught master degree in: Embedded Systems, Communications and Computer Networks, Control Engineering, Mobile Systems Engineering, And Chemical Engineering. PhD and Master degrees by research are offered since 2010. As of December 2017 a total of 486 graduates graduated with MSc degrees, 20 with PhDs. Active research projects are running in the faculties’ research labs. Researchers in the faculty succeeded in winning a number of research grants. The faculty is a leader in e-learning. A growing number of offered courses are being transformed by including multimedia content and a learning Management System (LMS) is in use for the last 7 years.
