Objectives

After the completion of Parasitology program, graduate should be able to:

1.Define basic terminology, epidemiology, biology, classification and taxonomy of parasites.

2. Demonstrate adequate knowledge about the transmission, pathogenicity, pathological bases and immuomresponseof parasitic infections.

3. Demonstrate adequate knowledge and practical skills about principals and techniques of the parasitological methods, advanced techniques and relevant techniques that are applied in the diagnosis of different parasitic infections.

4. Understand the classification, characteristics,biological properties,development,and route of transmission and causation of human diseases of arthropods of medical importance.

5. Understand and implement, the measures adopted for control and eradication human parasitic diseases and arthropods of medical importance.
