Major Teaching and Clinical Interests

I have experienced in teaching various haematology courses such as basic haematology, blood transfusion, Haemostasis, White cell disorders, Red cell disorders, advanced clinical and diagnostic haematology and molecular haematology as well as supervision of practical secions for all this courses.

Areas of specialization

DNA and RNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, preparation of PCR and RT-PCR, HRM analysis technique, direct DNA sequencing an automated DNA sequencing, Allele specific PCR and PCR-RFLP.
 Also performing and interpreting molecular hematology tests such as detection of immunoglobulin gene rearrangement of heavy chain gene in B – cell line non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
 Laboratory haematology: Anemia, Leukemia, Homeostasis and Immunohaematolgy and blood bank.
