About Department

library management system (LMS) is an enterprise resource planning system for a library, used to track items owned, orders made, bills paid, and patrons who have borrowed.

The role of the integrated library system is, and always has been, to help manage the effective delivery of library services. This has traditionally been anchored on the management of the catalogue and physical collection. the role of library systems therefore is to make the management and delivery of that environment both effective and efficient.
