About Department
The child health and pediatric Nursing Department was established in 2003. The Department includes child health, pediatric nursing and applied pediatric nursing. The department is committed to provide students with recent knowledge and practice in nursing.
The department is dedicated to use knowledge of fundamentals of nursing, ethics ,communication skill ,critical thinking as well as Evidence base practice.

Objective
1. Produce graduates with the nursing expertise to improve healthcare outcomes.
2. Enhance and sustain diverse environment for innovation and excellence in practice, research, leadership, in child health and pediatric nursing.
3. Foster diverse and interactive environment that meet academic and non-academic students' needs assisting in pediatric patient care.
4. -Institute a system for Total Quality Management.
5. -Collaborate with the local, national and international community to promote health and well-being of children.
6. Collaborate with international academic and health care institutions to advance pediatric nursing professions.
